We offer formal and informal ESL classes and practice for community members. Our emphasis is on life skills and conversational language acquisition so that participants improve their ability to fully engage in the community. We also offer assistance in conversational skills and citizenship testing practice. Our programs are engaging and welcoming as we firmly believe language proficiency and literacy empower families to greater independence.
We know searching for work can be challenging for any of us. There are additional barriers for single parents, those with limited English proficiency, restored citizens or those who lack access to the internet. We offer assistance to complete job applications, resume writing, as well as computer use to access job search sites. We collaborate with local employers to fill available positions.
