Muslim Family Services of Ohio provides janazah services on behalf of the Muslim community to honor our collective obligation to ensure Muslim burial needs are addressed. We are able to assist families as they face the death of a loved one to coordinate Janazah services.
The Ghusl and Kafan (Bathing and Shrouding) The bathing and shrouding is conducted at a licensed funeral home or mosque equipped for this purpose. Our volunteers are available to help you with this ritual. We have the burial kafan kits available in our office for purchase and will provide one free of charge if needed. If you would like to sponsor one or more kits for others please contact us.
We also provide training to the community on the performance of the rituals that accompany a loss in the Muslim community. Please contact us if you would like to attend a workshop.
The Janazah (funeral) prayer can be arranged at a masjid of your choice.
